Clients’ information

​

I collect client’s information and store data on paper client consultation forms, record cards and on my appointment booking app, Fresha.

Clients’ personal information is collected from the client, either through electronic or written means.

Information stored that is required, but not limited to is:

· All service and product records

· Phone numbers

· Address

· E-mail address

· Your attendance 

· Photos 

· Copies of any medical letters or notes.

Data​ Protection Storage

Phone numbers are stored on my password protected and fingerprint ID, mobile phone.

Allergy Alert Test Forms, Skin Test Forms, Skin test date reminders and client record cards for products or services are stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Information will never be sold or passed on to third parties** and is only accessible by myself (Alison Woodyer) and the client who can request to see any information stored on them at any time.

** Track and trace- this is now law in the UK and information on clients, including; name, contact information and date and time of appointment will be provided, should it be required.

This data is stored to comply with my product and public liability insurance, to safely be able to perform your treatments for reference for future with regards to previous products and services and should any allergies/issues arise.

Online booking

My booking system sends email & text reminders which you can opt in or opt out, this is to remind you of your upcoming appointment.

Marketing Messages

Occasionally, Alison’s Hair & Beauty will send marketing messages via email, text, or messaging services for current special offers or last-minute cancellation appointments. You can opt-in and opt-out of this at any time.

Card Payments
When taking card payments Alison’s Hair & Beauty processes payments via ‘Sum up’ through chip & pin or contactless. A receipt can be emailed or text to you if required.

BACS payments

Any BACS details are stored on my bank/online banking statements.

This necessary data must be stored for 7 years to comply with my legal obligations, this will be reviewed on a yearly basis.

Photos, advertising & social media 

Any client photos are stored on my password and fingerprint ID protected phone; I use the photos to share my work on social media accounts: Instagram/Facebook/tiktok other business listings, leaflets, and my website. (I always ask permission before I take any pictures of your hair or beauty treatments).

Want to Opt out? 

Please contact me to be removed from my booking system (I must keep records of treatments provided for insurance purposes for 2 years and after this time, client records are destroyed).
